GAM includes safety, health, and environmental efforts as part of our overall sustainability effort. GAM takes an unending approach to the safety and health of our employees and respecting our community and environment.

The following five (5) principles will guide us in our journey of continued SH&E excellence: 

Planning and Action – We will establish a long-term strategic approach to SHE. Our action, through structured planning, will be guided by our strategy, performance, and emerging issues.

Protect and Preserve – We will design and operate our facilities to avoid adverse impacts on people, property, and the environment to ensure all workers at our facilities are provided with the necessary resources and training to safely perform their duties while identifying and addressing hazards.

Partner Responsibly – We will seek to establish key relationships with those that share our vision of SH&E Excellence and who source materials and services in a responsible manner.

Communicate Openly – We will openly and honestly share all pertinent SH&E information about our products, facilities, expectations, and performance with our stakeholders.

Continuously Improve – With the input of our employees, vendors, customers, and community partners, we will regularly review and advance our SH&E expectations and the safe conduct of our operations.
